Mission

JULY 16-19, 2025

Every aspect of Strength to Stand is about sharing the Gospel. Mission is our avenue of equipping students to boldly share their faith. At STS Mission, students are trained in evangelism and then participate in service projects with the goal of engaging others in Gospel conversations.

  • During our time together at Mission, we want to make sure not only that your group gets plenty of time for face-to-face serve opportunities, we also want to make sure that they are trained, equipped, and encouraged to go out in the city and have Gospel-minded conversations.

Mission opens with a session on Wednesday night. Thursday through Saturday include a morning session, afternoon service opportunities, and UNITE: Charleston.

  • Each year we strive to make sure your students are trained and prepared to have Gospel-minded conversations with people in the city we serve in. We also will always try to get your students face-to-face interactions with individuals where they can have those conversations. We break it down into three categories of serves that we always try to make sure your group has a chance to do.

    • Mission Serve: Being the hands and feet of Jesus by doing mission minded serves. Examples: Food Banks, Homeless Shelters, Backpack Drives, Block Parties, etc.

    • Local Serve: Serving the city that we are in by partnering with different organizations that impact the city we are in. Examples: Emerald Youth Foundation, Thrive, Angelic Ministries, etc.

    • Community Serves: Going to where the people are in the city we will be serving in, and having face to face conversations. Examples: Parks, Senior Homes, Neighborhood Canvassing, etc.

  • The UNITE movement has been to Las Vegas, NV, San Antonio, TX, Pensacola, FL and Knoxville, TN. In each city, tens of thousands have gathered to worship Jesus and thousands more decided to follow Him. That’s what we’re about. Proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ and inviting people across America into a relationship with Him.

  • In the past we have seen groups not only come and serve the city in where STS Mission is located, but the best part is seeing students realize they can do the same things in their hometowns. Our prayer is that not only would students come serve, learn, and grow over the weekend at STS Mission but they would also leave encouraged, equipped, and prepared to take it back to the city in which your Church is.

Student Pastor Stories

  • Cam M. | Hartwell, GA

STS Mission is an excellent trip for your students! It combines a much-needed teaching time with practical outreaches so your students can use what they have learned. I highly recommend challenging your students to go on STS Mission and be students who go and tell.

  • William W. | Andalusia, AL

The #1 reason we are committed to STS Mission is because it teaches our students how to evangelize and gets them excited about sharing the Gospel. Even the most reserved kids in my group are comfortable sharing their faith by the end of the trip. The training sessions and real world, on-the-ground applications make STS Mission more than just another youth trip; it’s a life-changing experience that our kids apply in their homes, schools, and communities.

  • Lee M. | Athens, AL

Our youth love STS Mission; they look forward to this event each year. The youth get to see the Kingdom work firsthand by praying with and leading people to Christ. Gets them fired up and ready to head back to their mission field, their schools.

We use STS Mission because the students learn how to share their faith. Not only that, but they are challenged immediately to also share Jesus with a community of people that they do not know. The best thing for us is that it develops leaders we can depend on at church, so we know that we have students that know how to effectively share the gospel and teach other students as well.
